GBRC gave me opportunities like hands-on experience in gene gun / biolistic method along with which I accquired new skills of gel extraction & purification, PCR clean-up. I could also explore new techniques like gene cloning, in-vitro transcription and RNP assembly

Junior Research Fellow (March 2024 – January 2025)

I had great experience at IIRR to revise my skills on field sample collection, DNA extraction, PCR setting, gel electrophoresis which i had learnt during my Masters degree. I explored new areas in molecular biology such as RNA isolation, Plasmid isolation, competent cell preparation etc. Additionally, I received hands on experience in plant tissue culture media preparation, callus induction, Agrobacterium mediated transformation. I was also able to utilized advanced lab equipment and contributed to presentations for research.
